Consider the Snaplock kit if you are in film
"I personally purchased the Reaper Choice kit and am 5 stars happy with that. But I am reviewing this 2 wire because most of my friends purchased this kit, and I would have as well except for one thing. . . We (my friends and I) all work in motion picture. Long, long hours. Even with the semi custom ear inserts on acoustic tubes, after a 5 day run your ear can be raw. The moisture blocking sound is no fun either. Not so with the N-ear system. It really is game changing. I do not even remove the earpiece when they give us an hour lunch. I will even leave the earpiece in after production has collected my radio and we still have an hour of wrap. It is so unobtrusive it is just easier to leave it in and not risk it getting smashed during wrap. In motion picture we prefer the classic 2-wire setup here, and that is what I would have purchased instead of the Reaper except for 2 things: 1. This company has a litany of configuration options. So many it can be overwhelming. But even with all the options, ALL the earpieces come with a 90° connector. They even have 2 sizes of connectors (plus snaplock as well) The 90° connector does not play nicely with how the 2 wire is normally worn by us. If you are a motion picture person, and you want a 2 wire, I would recommend looking at the 2-wire snaplock kit. It would keep the cable in a line without a 90. 2, This kit comes with a 22" earpiece wire. You cannot change that. I would recommend you buy the parts separate and get a 12" earpiece. Yes it will cost you a couple extra bucks, but all my friends have the connection at their collar and have to find something to do with all the excess earpiece wire. If you don't have the connection at your collar, you have it hanging in the middle of your back and again, with a 90°. This would be better with the snaplock because it would be in line, but even there a 12" earpiece wire makes more sense for the way motion picture people use it."
