If you prefer a high chest or open chest position for your PTT microphone with a single side setup, this is your best option. See the 22 inch option if you are using your PTT on one side and earpiece on the other.

"I used the non-braided flexo version for almost 2 years. Bought this due to the last one de-laminating. The molded earpiece stays in ear a lot easier than the flexo. Should hold up over time due to the stronger build."

Best Earpiece on the Market
"I have been using the N-Ear earpieces for five years. My first one was the original model. I upgraded to the braided model after our agency got LBVs because of the all the friction and equipment on our vests. After using those awful silicone earpieces for years, I found N-Ear on a YouTube channel of all places and ordered one. Five years later, here is my evaluation: Pros: > Excellent audio quality > No need to clean any tubes or worry about air/dirt/moisture getting trapped in the audio tube > Comfortable (no more ear pain!) > Discreet > Excellent quality > Top-tier customer service (My earpiece tubing cover came off exposing the wire, and the company replaced my whole earpiece for free) Cons: > Audio is really loud, even on the lowest setting, so prepare for that (depending on the dispatcher this is actually helpful) > Plastic covering on the wire does wear out (so get the braided one) > Expensive > The plastic clip it comes with to clip it to your uniform/vest is garbage In all, this is the best earpiece I've ever used. There is a reason I've used them exclusively for five years. I've only had two, and I bought the braided one for its strength. My other one (the original) is my backup and still works flawlessly. I love the audio quality. I love the fact this earpiece is so comfy that I literally forget it is in sometimes and take my vest off with my earpiece still in, accidentally ripping it out of my ear. Invest in one if you have not already."
Good but room for improvement
"The product itself is amazing! Super clear sound and no ear fatigue whatsoever so ever!!! However, In the first week I lost the ear piece that came with it. I took it out of my ear when having to use my AirPods to review a video (MDT speakers aren’t great). It’s probably under my seat blending in to the black vinyl flooring as I’m sure it just fell off for what ever reason. I did order some new ones off Amazon that I’ll keep on hand. I also ordered the metal clip, but the plastic piece that connects to the wire broke after day two."
